Getting to Sawyer Point & Yeatman’s Cove

It’s going to be a busy weekend downtown! We recommend giving yourself extra time to find parking, carpool with friends and family, or utilize Rideshare services or public transportation. Please note there will be street closures in the area for the Hudy 14K/7K Race on Saturday, 9/21 from 7:00AM through 12:00PM. Parking

There are thousands of parking spaces in the paid, surface parking lots along Eggleston Avenue, a short walk to the East Entrance of the festival. Please read posted signage in each lot. There is metered and free parking along Riverside Drive.

Other parking options:
*The main parking lot at Sawyer Point will be closed for event vehicles.

Public Transit

The Connector is an electric-powered streetcar that operates along a 3.6-mile loop connecting Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine and Banks neighborhoods via the Central Business District. It is free to ride. Extended service hours will be available during Oktoberfest:

  • Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Take stop #1 and then walk East on Pete Rose Way towards the West Entrance of the festival. For more information, visit Cincinnati’s street car website.

Drop-off / Pick-up

We’re excited to offer two convenient pick-up and drop-off locations along E. Pete Rose Way and E. Mehring Way. Whether you’re using a rideshare service or being dropped off/ picked up by friends and family, these stations will make it easy to access the festival quickly and hassle-free.

East Pete Rose Way from Purple People Bridge to Eggleston Ave. South curb lane only.

East Mehring Way from Old Broadway to the Public Landing Entrance. South curb lane only.

Accessi­bility

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati welcomes people of all abilities to come out to the Festival and celebrate the rich German heritage of Southwest Ohio, as well as tasty samples of German-style music, food and beer. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati is committed to making our festival inclusive and accessible for everyone, including those with disabilities. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, working diligently to remove any barriers that may prevent people with disabilities from fully participating in our events.

Wheelchairs, medical scooters, rollators, walkers, canes, crutches, and other similar devices are permitted at the Festival to assist patrons with disabilities. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or wheelchair push service. Please bring an attendant if needed.

  • Pick-up and Drop-off Locations:

    We’re excited to offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off location. There will be designated pick-up and drop-off stations near both the East and West entrances, located along E. Pete Rose Way and E. Mehring Way.

  • Water Stations:

    Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove Park have multiple access points for free drinking water at the festival.

  • Accessible Restrooms:

    Oktoberfest Zinzinnati has partnered with Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services to host the Momentum Refresh Bus. Momentum Refresh is the nation’s first fully accessible, universally designed mobile restroom. The bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift, customizable grab bars, an overhead ceiling hoist, and a height-adjustable sink and universal changing table.     * The Festival utilizes the sections of grass within the Park for our Festival Tent experiences. All grass areas have reasonably level entry/exit points from the firm, concrete paths.

  • Personal Seating:

    All patrons are allowed to bring their own personal folding chair and umbrella into the Festival.

  • Vendor Service Desk:

    Vendors are on an accessible route and the majority of service counters are at an accessible height. Vendors are available to assist you with purchases as needed.
